Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting and analytical skills, with experience working with international organizations in a multi-currency environment.



Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for various properties, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end key indicator analysis.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis and Operational Support: Review and analyze annual operating plans and quarterly reforecasts, perform performance measurement, and assist with the execution of portfolio strategies.
  • Process Innovation and Controls: Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement, making recommendations for efficiencies in day-to-day responsibilities, and ensure compliance with Oxford's processes and controls.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:




  • A university degree and professional accounting designation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting/analysis or audit experience from mid-size or Big Four firms, preferably with real estate exposure.
  • Experience working with international organizations in a multi-currency environment.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to produce analysis with appropriate style and language.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.


What We Offer

Oxford offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
