Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, providing expert care and support to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and treat clients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community facilities.

You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, from adults with acquired communication disorders and dysphagia, to those requiring speech therapy in acute and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in adult clients using a variety of assessment tools and techniques
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address client needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Three years of recent experience in speech language pathology, preferably in an acute or long-term care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
