As a Speech Language Pathologist with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across a range of settings, including home, acute and long-term care facilities, community clinics, and virtually with clients in remote areas. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in adult clients, providing education and counseling to clients and their families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact in the community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently, but also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in speech language pathology, including knowledge of evidence-based practices, neurological conditions, and complex chronic diseases. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $47.55/hour, based on the location and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and opportunities for professional development and growth.
