About the JobAs a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet. This includes troubleshooting and inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, adjusting and repairing or replacing defective parts, testing repaired equipment, and verifying emission control systems.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment, with a permanent position offering excellent opportunities for growth and development.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex problems
- A strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics and safety procedures
