About the Role

The Electrical Assembler at RAM is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical equipment. With a strong background in electrical/mechanical assembly, this role ensures fast and efficient resolution to any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and/or modify electronic parts and equipment
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
  • Ensure proper soldering and installation of electric wiring
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment, and correct any defects
  • Set up and operate hand and power tools
  • Keep track of material, tools, and equipment, and inform supervisor of shortages
  • Properly and consistently document and follow established procedures
  • Wear proper PPE at all times (must have own helmet and steel toe boots)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technologist, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical/mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Working Conditions

  • Hazards associated with working in a fabrication shop (noise, machinery)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $ per hour
