About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Eastside Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnostic and Testing: Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Area of Specialization: Engine repair, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, automatic transmission, and drive train components.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
