Graphic Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Westside Church Vancouver. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Visual Content: Create high-quality designs for print, digital, and audio-visual materials, including illustrations, graphics, and typography.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet their needs.
  • Manage Projects: Coordinate all aspects of production, including sub-contracting and file management.
  • Support Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, such as language training and skills development.
  • Support Youth Employment: Participate in programs that support youth employment, such as on-the-job training and mentorship.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
