Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of projects, including print and digital materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that showcases their ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with clients to meet their communications needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce high-quality designs for print and digital materials, including brochures, posters, and website graphics.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the nature and content of designs to meet their communications needs.
  • Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians as needed.
  • Estimate time to complete designs and illustrations.
  • Adapt existing illustrations and designs to meet client needs.
  • Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions.
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look and graphic elements of communications materials.
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives.
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and work with a large workload.
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with clients.
Work Environment:

The Graphic Designer will work in a printing shop environment with a team of designers and production staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with clients to meet their communications needs.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Graphic Designer will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
