Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza - Salmon Arm. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff.
- Food Preparation and Service: Ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards, meeting quality control and food safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet demand.
- Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
