Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at Purolator. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sorting and separation of freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
  • Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
  • Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
  • Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
  • Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
Requirements

A G Driver's License for at least 3 years and a clean driver abstract are required for this position.

Working Conditions

This role is based in a warehouse environment.
