VON Canada is seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a CCA, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including grooming, dressing, and bathing
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light household duties
- Provide respite care and support to clients and their families
- Monitor and maintain household safety, and assist with mobility and transfers
- Continuing Care Assistant Certification (CCA)
- PSW, HSW, or other related healthcare certifications or experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
