Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team at our Little Current Branch. As a Personal Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their personal insurance needs, including auto, home, and life insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct needs assessments and provide personalized insurance solutions to clients
- Sell new policies and retain existing business through proactive outreach and excellent customer service
- Quote new business and process renewals in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to discuss policy guidelines and requirements
- Prepare and process insurance applications, issue certificates, and review renewals
- Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to community marketing initiatives and promote BrokerLink Insurance's brand
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
- Previous insurance experience preferred, but not required
- RIBO license preferred
- Exposure to Epic software an asset
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check
