About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Lead - Mechanical Systems to join our team at Ram Plastics Inc. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in managing maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems, and design power plants, machines, and equipment.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, and investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs, and supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage projects, prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems, and prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance.
  • Business Development: Assess business opportunities and develop strategies, and develop risk management plans.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance engineering lead position, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Environment: 70 hours bi-weekly, permanent position.
