Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineers will engage in multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute tasks that require sound technical judgment in evaluating, organizing, and managing project assignments. This position is designed to develop a broader understanding of project management principles and practices.
Essential Duties Include:- Executing fundamental project engineering tasks, including progress monitoring, procedure preparation, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification and assessment of project challenges;
- Coordinating the efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure cohesive and comprehensive designs that fulfill project specifications and contractual commitments;
- Assisting in the enforcement and implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) standards and initiatives;
- Reviewing project staffing needs and coordinating with functional organization managers and/or subcontractors;
- Supporting the development and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against established plans;
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, while tracking progress and cost performance;
- Facilitating the preparation, delivery, and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages;
- Performing other duties as assigned.
