Citizen Services Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Citizen Services Officer to join our team at Service Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to citizens, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to citizens, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and manage citizen requests, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of government programs and services to provide accurate information to citizens.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking.
Language:

English is the primary language of work for this position.

Hours of Work:

37.5 hours per week.
