Senior Metallurgist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metallurgist to join our team at the Rainy River Mine in Northwestern Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our gold production process and ensuring the highest level of safety and environmental responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in gold milling, with a strong background in chemical, process, or metallurgical engineering. You will be responsible for supervising the Metallurgy team, improving operational performance, and providing technical support to the Operations group.

About the Role

• 
  
• Supervise the Metallurgy team to improve operational performance
  
• Provide technical support to the Operations group
  
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures
  
• Develop and implement best practices and SOPs to minimize risks
  
• Maintain accurate records and data entry for daily metallurgical reporting
  

Your Skills and Qualifications

• 
  
• 8-10 years of gold milling experience
  
• Accredited University degree in Chemical, Process, or Metallurgical Engineering
  
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
  
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel
