About the Role

The Event Marketing Representative will play a key role in supporting and leading the organization and execution of all initiatives within the work, shop, and learn model for Techtronic Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to create meaningful brand impressions with core mid-market users, ensuring they understand the company's focus on disruptive innovation and vision for a cordless jobsite.
  • Be the go-to resource for product pitches on new product categories and drive event day impressions at event executions, such as 'Milwaukee Core Trade Nights, and Trade Show executions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to schedule Sales Days and drive Point of Sale (POS) growth.
  • Implement brand training, sales, and support for trade school programming, working with Sales Leaders to position discount programs and drive POS and impressions.
  • Build longstanding relationships with trade school partners to deliver Milwaukee Heavy Duty Training sessions to students.
  • Engage with prospective customers and end-users with high energy and ability to adapt to varying challenges.
  • Work independently and within a team to achieve goals.
  • Learn and perfect category-specific product pitches for all event executions.
  • Travel to markets to support planning and execution of events.
  • Continuously improve selling skills to close deals during Sales Days.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 1-2 years' experience in sales or related field is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exemplary presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • High level of product knowledge, understanding features, benefits, and applications to communicate value and productivity.
