About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Abbotsford Line Marking Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting and coating projects.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors and in various locations.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Airless spray equipment.
  • Brush painting.
  • Conventional spray painting.
  • Roller painting.
Coating/Application Specialization
  • Sign painting.
  • Graphics painting.
  • Paint spraying.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
