Job Title: Painter-Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter-Decorator to join our team at Abbotsford Line Marking Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, and kneeling
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors and underground
  • Work setting: various locations
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Airless spray equipment
  • Brush painting
  • Conventional spray painting
  • Roller painting
Coating/Application Specialization:
