Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and manage contract variations.
  • Scheduling: Develop and implement project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans, including risk management, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Project Controls: Monitor and report on project progress, including cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Manage Budget and Forecasting: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including contracts, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Manage Logistics and Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of materials, services, and labor required for project delivery.
  • Subcontractor Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience as a project manager in high-voltage energy projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering/Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • Safety-focused with a proven safety work record.
  • Knowledge of full Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Willingness to travel.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. The compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
