Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Financial Advisors, Investment will partner with Canadian Banking regional leadership and Wealth Management to oversee a team of Financial Advisors Investment & Retirement specialists (FAIRs) for an assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach the team of FAIRs to increase financial planning results and support recruitment and retention of specialist advisors.
  • Create practice management strategies to deliver business results for the FAIR team and support national project management.
  • Establish standards and expectations for key activities, specific market/client segmentation and planning.
  • Deliver coaching and training to elevate FAIR knowledge and performance.
  • Refer clients to other Canadian Banking and Wealth Management partners to deepen relationships and enhance the client experience.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates the team.
  • Lead the execution of practice management strategies and initiatives for the assigned market area.
  • Coordinate training, skill builds, pipeline calls, client events with the FAIRs and partners across the Region.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business or related field.
  • Mutual Fund License, Financial Planning Designation (IQPF).
  • 5+ years of experience in the investment industry, with strong Advice+ knowledge.
  • Expert sales management skills and advanced knowledge of sales techniques and prospecting.
  • Proven networking and client acquisition with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
