Job Title: Fleet Transactions Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for fleet management? Do you have a strong background in commercial aircraft transactions? We're looking for a highly skilled Fleet Transactions Manager to join our team at Air Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage aircraft deliveries and redeliveries within approved budgets
  • Develop financial forecasts based on contractual obligations for aircraft transaction budgets
  • Manage internal and external resources required to support fleet transaction activities
  • Evaluate aircraft acquisitions and identify modifications to meet commercial and regulatory obligations
  • Develop aircraft transaction programs, including program scope, milestones, and timelines
  • Lead commercial contract negotiations and provide technical recommendations
  • Oversee aircraft and engine evaluations and provide strategic technical recommendations
  • Manage aircraft and engine lease activities to meet commercial objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the airline or related industries
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong technical background in aircraft systems and maintenance programs
  • Strong project management and risk management skills
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work in a challenging environment
