Laundry Operations Manager

Crest Hotel is seeking a skilled Laundry Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our laundry facilities. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues, addressing special needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and production levels of our laundry services.
- Supervise the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, ensuring attention to detail and high standards.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and successes.
- Procure and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal levels.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff, promoting productivity and quality improvements.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laundry staff, scheduling and reviewing work as needed.
- Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Perform laundry operations, including washing and drying industrial or household articles.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
- English language proficiency.
