About the Role

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team in the Communication, Learning and Behaviour Service. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting developmental assessments for children and youth under the age of 18 years six months, providing feedback, consultation, and education to clients and families, and contributing to the development of program/service activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children and youth, including the administration and interpretation of standardized assessments.
  • Provide feedback, consultation, and education to clients and families, with a focus on maximizing strengths and promoting client-centered care.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of program/service activities, including the design and implementation of new programs and services.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Current Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) required with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents
  • Previous job-related experience working with children and families required
  • Previous job-related experience working with clients with autism, neurological conditions, and developmental disabilities required
  • Extensive ADOS-2 administration, scoring, and interpretation required
  • ADOS-2 reliability considered an asset
