Child Development Psychologist

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled psychologist to join our team in the Communication, Learning and Behaviour Service. As a developmental assessment specialist, you will work with children and youth under the age of 18 years six months to provide comprehensive assessments and support to clients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct developmental assessments for children and youth, providing feedback and consultation to clients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide client-centred care, focusing on maximizing strengths and promoting healthy development.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with clients and families to set goals and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of program activities, ensuring an integrated approach to service delivery.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, supporting the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents.
- Previous experience working with children and families, particularly those with autism, neurological conditions, and developmental disabilities.
- Extensive experience with ADOS-2 administration, scoring, and interpretation.
