Rogers Communications is expanding its financial services team and seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Engagement Marketing to lead customer engagement efforts across multiple channels.

This pivotal role will drive growth through effective customer-based marketing (CBM) strategies, optimize customer spend and engagement, and collaborate closely with marketing agencies.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and leadership skills to spearhead engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies to drive revenue growth, leveraging CBM techniques, digital channels, and other relevant marketing tactics.
  • Oversight of the CBM program, including segmentation, customer journey mapping, email marketing campaigns, and personalized communications to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Agency management, including relationships with external marketing agencies, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and ensuring deliverables are met within timelines and budget constraints.
  • Data-driven performance analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of engagement marketing campaigns and initiatives, developing actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement based on performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Journey design and trigger-based campaigns to drive card usage and increased spend and engagement across the customer base, segmenting customers and understanding their behaviors and patterns to serve up relevant campaigns and communications.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including product, sales, and analytics, to align engagement marketing strategies with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints.
  • Adoption of Agile Marketing methods to test and learn, driving towards achieving KPIs within the Agile Marketing framework.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in marketing roles, with a focus on CBM, digital sales, and agency management.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-facing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
  • Experience leading and motivating a team.
