At Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our Edmonton Warehouse Team 1. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible for leading a team of warehouse employees and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipping of goods.

About This Opportunity

The successful candidate will be a coach and mentor to their team, planning workloads, motivating employees, and providing excellent customer service. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, enforcing health and safety policies, and developing control methods to maintain labour efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of warehouse employees while respecting budgetary constraints
  • Maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
  • Coach, lead, and mentor all warehouse employees
  • Oversee the storage of, and the shipping and receiving of goods
  • Work with the supervisory and management team to develop a work environment that promotes good working relationships and ongoing communication with unionized employees
  • Develop and apply control methods to maintain a high level of labour efficiency
  • Take part in any other related projects or tasks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Experience and/or education in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized storage or distribution environment.
  • Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener as needed.
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to make sound recommendations based on systematic evaluations.
  • Ability to provide guidance, motivation, and training for development of the team.
  • Ability to cultivate, manage, and foster a diverse team of employees.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and SAP computer tools.
