The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in distribution management and/or team leadership, preferably in the automotive market. They will possess strategic thinking, planning, and organizational abilities, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing warehouse operations, material handling, order preparation, and delivery to meet corporate and franchise location needs.
  • Formulating and recommending operational objectives for the warehouse and controlling results.
  • Reviewing and analyzing the warehouse budget.
  • Ensuring effective inventory management.
  • Managing productivity and controlling daily operations to minimize costs and plan manpower.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and customers, including visiting customers at their sites.
  • Redefining warehouse priorities during crisis situations, such as equipment breakdowns and inventory problems.
  • Creating and maintaining a favorable working climate to motivate and commit employees to warehouse objectives.
  • Managing and leading a team of warehouse employees and enforcing accountability.
  • Communicating policies and procedures to employees and ensuring proper execution.
  • Optimizing equipment use and controlling maintenance.
  • Implementing tactics to improve and maintain the Vanfax brand.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution management and/or team leadership, preferably in the automotive market.
  • Strategic thinking, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
