We are seeking a highly skilled Private Banking Officer Sales Specialist to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Wealth Sales and Service team, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to our private banking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing new business proposals and presentations to clients and prospects.
- Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products or services using relationship selling techniques.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Review overdraft and other monitoring reports with Private Bankers and take action accordingly.
- Strive to exceed client service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.
- Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and earn their trust.
- Provide timely, accurate service and support to Private Bankers by completing a wide variety of credit, non-credit, and related activities.
- Adhere to all banking, investment, and lending regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
- Must meet the licensing and certification requirements for the team/branch/jurisdiction where the mandate is being fulfilled.
- Working knowledge of personal and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes, and applications.
- Basic knowledge of the Lending Process and supporting policies.
- Basic knowledge of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routine.
