About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our IT department at Farm Mutual Re, a leading Canadian reinsurance company. As a QA Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Jest, and Playwright.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, particularly for new software features and integration work.
  • Manage testing environments and integrate tests into the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline to streamline testing and deployment processes.
  • Analyze test results, document software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a QA testing role with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
  • Proficiency with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Jest, and Playwright.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, Agile development, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Some experience with SQL and scripting.
