Technical QA Engineer

Edison Smart® is seeking a skilled Technical QA Engineer to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our IoT team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our broadband solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify product functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
  • Contribute to the development of our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and testing

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in product verification and test automation
  • Optical transport networks experience, including DWDM, SONET, Ethernet, OTN, ROADM, and WDM
  • Network Management Systems (NMS) experience
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
