About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Shift Lead - Operations. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Operations Associates through their shift, ensuring they are set up for success to work safely and productively. You will serve as the point of escalation for daily operations and be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks, delighting customers, and helping to improve operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Operations Associates: Lead a team of Operations Associates through their shift, ensuring they are set up for success to work safely and productively.
  • Assist with Day-to-Day Tasks: Assist with receiving product from vendors, placing product in appropriate locations, preparing customer orders, and helping to clean and organize work areas.
  • Delight Customers: Ensure customer orders are delivered smoothly by maintaining menus and systems, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.
  • Facility Management: Monitor supplier deliveries, manage regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Help Improve Operations: Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Self-Motivated and Positive: You are self-motivated, positive, and a team player. You work well with others and bring a great attitude to your work each and every day.
  • Proven Track Record: You have a proven track record of success in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant environment.
  • Physical Ability: You are able to be on your feet and move heavy product. You are excited and physically able (with or without accommodation) to lift up to 40 lbs, and can operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
  • Education: You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A college diploma is a bonus.
  • Age: You are at least 18 years of age.
  • Organizational Skills: You are organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • Schedule Flexibility: You have flexibility in your schedule. You may be required to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours.

Pay Range: CAD 24 / hour
