Role and Responsibilities

The Execution Solution Lead is a key member of the Defense and Security (D&S) International Solutions team, responsible for developing and delivering training solutions to defense forces and para-military organizations worldwide. This role requires a strong understanding of CAE's core simulation technologies and best-in-class teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the D&S Lead to Award (L2A) business development process from initial customer interactions to contract award.
  • Develop and validate solutions for active opportunities, including defining execution strategies, leading IMS preparation, and creating risk and opportunity registers.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive Transition Plans and post-delivery Sustainment Plans.
  • Prepare Milestone Payment Plans and Export Control plans to ensure cash neutrality and controlled technical data transfer.
  • Deliver Solution Reviews and Design-to-Win reviews, and interface with customers and end-users to present solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of related program management leadership experience, with 3-5 years focused on training program development and delivery in the defense sector.
  • PMP certification or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with new business capture and proposal processes for large made-to-order programs highly desirable.
  • Good ability to develop capture strategies, leveraging winning themes and discriminators.
  • Knowledge of CAE's products and training solutions, including modeling and simulation capabilities, considered a definite asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
  • Fluent in both English and French considered an asset.
  • Good people skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good business acumen and political savvy highly desirable.
  • Ability to hold a NATO SECRET security clearance.
