Volumetric Concrete Operator

Lafarge, a leading supplier of ready mix concrete, has a requirement for Volumetric Concrete truck drivers in the Hamilton, Niagara area for the upcoming construction season.

These positions will be part-time seasonal and may become full-time if workload warrants it. Some locations operate all year round.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of a Volumetric Concrete Truck delivering concrete to customers in a timely manner.
  • Compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Up keep of truck appearance and light maintenance around the Concrete plant.
  • Paperwork, circle checks, and delivery ticket information.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience in the trucking industry (training provided for operating the Volumetric Concrete truck)
  • DZ Ontario Driving License
  • A clean driving record
