Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Seibi Plastics Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Toyota. As a key member of our Plastics Production Engineering department, you will be responsible for supporting the development and confirmation of new model plastic shop molds and equipment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Plastics PE analysts in development and confirmation of new model plastic shop molds and equipment processes
  • Identify mold and equipment problems and implement countermeasures
  • Lead installation activities related to interior/exterior plastics equipment/processes, robot teaching, trial support, and coordinating trial activities
  • Assist in specification reviews/vendor trials for new process equipment
  • Support engineering analyst in mold level-up plan for part quality improvements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in plastics mold maintenance
  • 5+ years of experience in injection molding equipment/tooling
  • Able to travel up to 50%, and able to travel international (Canada, Japan, etc.)
  • Able to work on weekends and long weekends
  • T/D Journeyman or skilled team member/team leader experience
