Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Delivery Driver to join our team at Chinese Universal Enterprise. As a Food Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell products over established routes, maintaining a strong understanding of product offerings and promotions.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient storage.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Trip Planning and Record-Keeping: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes, and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Process payments for goods, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Local and provincial/territorial experience is required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: A valid driver's license and a vehicle supplied by the employer are required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physical demands of the job.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
