Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Midland Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods and products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Vehicle: Safely drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver goods and products to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Logistics and Inventory: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, and ensure that inventory is properly managed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle, and ensure that they are properly secured.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy objects.
  • Experience: Have at least 7 months of experience as a delivery driver or in a related field.
