Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Exalted Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The Construction Helper will assist in various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning and lubricating equipment, and assisting in the erection and dismantling of forms, scaffolding, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy equipment
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction techniques
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment:

The Construction Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
