Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Specialist to join our team at Alliance Nav Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components.
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments.
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems.
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
  • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies.
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults.
Experience and Specialization:

We require experience with equipment, systems, and controls, specifically in telecommunication systems, radar equipment and systems, data communication equipment and systems, radio communication equipment, navigation equipment and systems, and sonar.

Type of Industry Experience:

Prior experience in the marine industry is highly valued.

Area of Specialization:

Skills in installation, repair, troubleshooting, and communications systems are essential.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$80,000 per year, plus benefits including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, bonus, group insurance benefits, mileage paid, free parking available, learning/training paid by employer, paid time off (volunteering or personal days), team building opportunities, and transportation provided by employer.
