Job Summary
The Baker is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet and savory items
- Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and utensils
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a kitchen or bakery environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
