CNC Machining Operator Role at ATI Machining Inc.

At ATI Machining Inc., we are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Operator to join our team. As a CNC Machining Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Clean and maintain work space.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • Noisy work site environment.
  • Dusty work site environment.
  • Custom machine shop work setting.
  • Manufacture work setting.
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer.
  • Willing to relocate.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Automatic lathes.

Area of Work Experience:

  • Fabrication.

Security and Safety:

  • Bondable.
  • Driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/Travel Information:

  • Own transportation.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Public transportation is available.

Weight Handling:

  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Own Tools/Equipment:

  • Tools.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.

Personal Suitability:

  • Excellent oral communication.
  • Reliability.
  • Ability to multitask.
