About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team at ATI Machining Inc. As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • Clean and maintain work space

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to multitask and work in a noisy and dusty environment

Work Environment:

  • Custom machine shop
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
  • Manufacture

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Area of Work Experience:

  • Fabrication

Repetitive Machining Operation Experience:

  • Turning
  • Milling
  • Boring
  • Drilling

Security and Safety:

  • Bondable
  • Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel Information:

  • Own transportation
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Public transportation is available

Weight Handling:

  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment:

  • Tools
  • Steel-toed safety boots

Personal Suitability:

  • Excellent oral communication
  • Reliability
  • Ability to multitask
