Client Relationship Manager

Mufg Investorservices is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Client Account Management. This position is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and operations staff at our clients.
- Client Query Escalation: Manage client queries and act as escalation point for all client issues.
- Incident Management: Own and manage incidents/errors end to end in a timely manner.
- Client Satisfaction and Retention: Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention through effective communication and issue resolution.
- SLA and KPI Management: Manage client specific SLA's and KPI adherence by operations teams.
- Service Calls and Due Diligence: Host monthly service calls with clients with our SLA and KPI data, and participate in client DDQ's and oversight of periodic due diligence visits.
- RAG Rating and Escalation: Determine RAG rating for clients and escalate to internal senior management where appropriate.
- Client Profitability and Strategy: Oversee and review client profitability and ownership of client account strategy to drive future growth.
- Workforce Planning and Cross-Sale Opportunities: Manage client profitability through workforce planning with operations teams and adherence to common operating model, and explore cross-sale opportunities where applicable.
- Commercial Conversations and New Product Launches: Ownership of commercial conversations with our clients, and initial point of contact for new product launches and services.
- Global Projects and Client Initiatives: Participate in global projects to improve client related initiatives or projects with the operational teams.
- Qualifications: Third Level Qualification (degree or higher) in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 10 years' experience working in the fund administration or asset management industry with experience managing client relationships.
- Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrate leadership and the ability to effectively manage a team of accounting professionals.
- Business Acumen and Problem Solving: Excellent business acumen through a strong understanding of the fund administration business and the drivers of profitability and success, and demonstrate a high level of problem solving and innovative thinking in order to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Computer Skills and Fund Administration Knowledge: Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products, and in-depth understanding of fund administration industry, including various fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments and fund offering documentation review.
