Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at FYidoctors Canmore. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized consultations to patients, educating them on the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle and needs.
  • Interpret optical prescriptions and assist patients in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and performance requirements.
  • Perform frame and facial measurements to ensure accurate fit and positioning of eyewear.
  • Submit prescription eyewear requisitions to manufacturing labs and perform repairs and adjustments to patients' eyewear.
  • Contribute to store retail sales goals and maintain a visually appealing retail display area.
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards, using charisma and problem-solving skills to resolve patient concerns.

Requirements

  • Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of routine eye care or experience in the optical industry is an asset.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor, with a passion for meeting and interacting with people.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfort using technology.
