Job Title: Retail Store Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of the store
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
  • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is adequately staffed
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure the store runs smoothly

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
