Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Landscape Supervisor to join our team at COREPRO LANDSCAPING. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to our company standards.
  • Supervise and schedule staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and effective team management.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials, making informed decisions to optimize project outcomes.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Tender and administer contracts, ensuring seamless project execution and vendor management.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, applying technical knowledge to inform project decisions.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
