Senior Financial Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a critical role in providing expert financial advice and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments and develop tailored financial plans for clients.
  • Provide expert advice on investment products and services, including discretionary management, estate and executor services, and insurance products.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional client service and ensure seamless execution of client transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and seminars to promote our wealth management services and build relationships with clients and prospects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and be IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative (IIROC-RR).
  • Life License (LLQP) and willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
