About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for working on various projects, conducting consulting engineering tasks, and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare engineering documents for structures in various sectors, including industrial, mining, and energy.
  • Coordinate design activities with other disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Prepare estimates, technical specifications, and reports to support project delivery.
  • Assist with quality control of the work of technicians and drafters.
  • Help plan, organize, and assess work to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor site work and assist with site inspections and surveys as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis software.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites and offices.
  • Asset: Experience in finite element calculations and dynamic structural analysis.
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French).
