About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our Structural Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures for various projects in the industrial, mining, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and analyze concrete and steel structures, including foundations and superstructures
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  3. Prepare detailed engineering documents, estimates, and technical specifications
  4. Conduct quality control checks on the work of technicians and drafters
  5. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  6. Monitor site work and conduct site inspections as required
  7. Perform other technical functions to support project delivery
  8. Maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites and offices
  • Asset: Experience in finite element calculations and dynamic structural analysis
  • Asset: Bilingualism in English and French
