About the Role

Cosentino is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our Distribution Center in Ottawa, ONT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across multiple distribution centers, while ensuring exceptional customer service and commercial development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development
    • Grow sales and distribution of affiliated company product lines in the area
    • Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
    • Monitor competitor activity and stay up-to-date on industry trends
    • Manage key customers and local distributors, building strong relationships and driving business growth
    • Collaborate with the corporate office to market and co-advertise the brand throughout the region
  • Account Management and Budgeting
    • Develop and manage budgets to drive revenue and profitability
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the center, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Management and Leadership
    • Lead and manage sales teams across assigned locations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional fabricators and provide exceptional customer support
    • Manage National Account relationships and ensure compliance
    • Lead by example to grow talent within the team and foster a culture of excellence
    • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are enforced and maintained
    • Maintain open communication with the Regional Director to support business objectives
    Requirements
    • Professional Experience
      • 5+ years of sales experience
      • 2+ years of experience in the stone industry
      • 2+ years of experience in managing staff
    • Knowledge and Skills
      • CRM System experience
      • Salesforce experience (desired)
      • SAP or other Order Management program experience (desired)
    • Academic Background
      • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
      • Master's degree (desired)
